What we can make in a ring
Plain and shaped bands, signet rings with a flat or oval face for engraving, stacking rings meant to be bought three and four at a time, solitaires, halo settings, eternity and half-eternity bands, cocktail rings and open adjustable designs. If a shape can be drawn we can usually cast it; where casting is wrong for the design, the piece is fabricated by hand instead.
Standard sizing runs US 3 to 13 including half sizes, and we cut to your market: European and Japanese sizing are no trouble if you tell us which scale your customers use. Comfort-fit interiors are available on any band and are worth specifying on anything above 4mm wide, because a flat interior on a wide band is the most common reason a ring gets returned.
Metals, karats and colour
925 sterling silver, 9k, 14k and 18k gold in yellow, white and rose, and platinum. White gold is rhodium plated as standard unless you ask us not to; tell us if your market expects an unplated white, because it reads noticeably warmer. Recycled gold is available and costs more per gram than the standard bullion rate, so raise it early if your brand story depends on it.
Eternity and stacking rings are where karat choice bites hardest. A 9k band holds a fine prong better than a soft 22k would, and on a ring that is worn daily and knocked against desks and door handles, that difference shows up as warranty claims a year later rather than at delivery.
Stone setting
Prong, bezel, channel, pavé, flush and tension-look settings, in natural diamonds, lab grown diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones, or cubic zirconia. Because we source our own stones through the Bangkok trade and hold membership of the Thai Gem and Jewelry Association, a coloured-stone ring programme can be costed properly rather than guessed at.
Where a specification will be difficult to repeat, we say so at quoting stage. Matching two hundred sapphires for tone is a different job from buying two, and it is better raised before you have shown the range to your customers than after.
What to send us
A sketch on paper is enough to start. So is a photograph of something similar with a note about what should be different. CAD files are better still, and a physical sample is best of all. We cost it, make one sample properly, and you decide from the piece in your hand rather than a rendering. Changes at sample stage are cheap; changes after production starts are not.
Minimums and lead time
There is no blanket minimum order quantity. It is set per project, once we know the metal, the method and the stones, because those three things decide whether a short run is sensible or wasteful. Gold and platinum can start small, because the material carries most of the cost. Silver wants more volume, since the setup is the same but the material is cheap.
From first enquiry to a box on your desk is usually six to ten weeks, of which three to five weeks is production. Most of the rest is sampling and your own decisions, which is the part you control. If you have a date you need stock by, say so in the first email and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
